Justin Scheiner wants to live in a world where common sense prevails. He is an Associate Professor and Extension Viticulture Specialist in the Department of Horticultural Sciences and has taught at Texas A&M for eleven years. Dr. Scheiner has been awarded the Texas A&M AgriLife Vice Chancellor’s Award for Extension Specialist, the American Society for Enology and Viticulture Extension Distinction Award and the American Society for Enology and Viticulture Eastern Section Distinguished Service Awards. In Fall 2025, he was named a Texas A&M University Innovative Teaching Fellow. When Dr. Scheiner is not teaching, you can find him collaborating with members of the Texas grape and wine industry, helping to solve challenges and identify best management practices to promote excellence in viticulture and enology.
