Explore your world through the scholarships at Texas A&M University's Honors Programs

One of the most important choices you'll ever make is which university you will attend.  You want to explore a world that has it all -- national exposure and personal attention, world awareness and homegrown sensibilities, individual freedom, and a sense of community.

If you want to mold not only your academic career but your future, then Texas A&M University is the place -- to explore who you are, what you want to do, and who you want to become.  College is about freedom, about expanding your horizons, and you need a place and a program that let you develop a course of study as individual as you are.

Most important is making sure you have the freedom to expand without having to worry about the financial concerns of college life.  Every year through the Honors Programs Office, over 1,000 outstanding entering freshmen are offered generous four-year scholarships, including prestigious scholarships such as the President's Endowed, President's Achievement, Lechner and McFadden scholarships -- totalling almost $13 million.  And if you are a National Merit Semifinalist, there are other scholarships that come your way.

Additionally, high-achieving transfer students may apply for the Collegiate Excellence or Hazelwood scholarships, which provide one-year awards of $2,000 or $1,000, respectively.
