Every year, Honors Programs offers over 1,000 generous four-year scholarships to high achieving freshmen and and a number of one-year scholarships to promising transfer students and motivated continuing students. 

As part of its mission to seek out people of great potential, the Honors Programs welcomes students from all over Texas, the United States and the world. More importantly, through its academic scholarship and support programs, the Honors Programs provides excellent students a wide range of intellectual opportunities and the freedom to expand their horizons without having to worry about the financial concerns of college life.

In addition, Texas A&M University and its Honors Programs sustain a history of academic excellence and promote a vision of the future by providing a number of social and support groups that help ease the sometimes difficult transition from high school to college.
