Join The Honors Listserv!

Would you like to share ideas and questions with other honors and scholarship students at Texas A&M? Did you know that the Honors Program has a listserv just for this purpose? Please, join the conversation. All you need is an e-mail account.

What to do:	Send an e-mail to < listserv@listserv.tamu.edu> DO NOT enter anything in the subject section. In the message section, just type:  SUBSCRIBE HONORS-L firstname lastname Send the message. Make sure there is no signature at the bottom.
What happens next:	After you are added to the list you will get a confirmation message stating your addition to the list. From then on, any mail that is sent to the list will come to you. You can respond to a message just as you would one coming specifically to you. To send a message to the entire group, the address is <Honors-L@listserv.tamu.edu>
What to discuss:	Aside from the Honors Office posting interesting information such as deadlines and upcoming events, students can discuss whatever comes to mind. Topics such as where to find a particular campus resource and student opinions on courses are just a few suggestions.

To Unsubscribe from the Honors Listserv:

1. Send an e-mail to < listserv@listserv.tamu.edu>
2. DO NOT enter anything in the subject section. In the message section, just type: SIGNOFF HONORS-L
3. Make sure there is no signature at the bottom.

National Scholarships Listserv

Students who wish to receive frequent bulletins regarding scholarship, fellowship, internship, and research opportunities should subscribe to the National Scholarships Listserv.  Major National Scholarships announcements, such as the opening of preliminary applications or the selection of finalists, will also be posted to the general Honors Listserv.  The National Scholarships Listserv is intended for students who desire frequent, detailed scholarship information.

 

To join the list, send an email to listserv@listserv.tamu.edu and in the BODY put

SUBSCRIBE national_scholarships firstname lastname.

 

To unsubscribe, send a message to listserv@listserv.tamu.edu and in the BODY put UNSUB national_scholarships.
