The Honors Programs at Texas A&M University challenge promising students to participate in an intellectual community of life-long learners who excel academically, advance knowledge through research, and pursue cultural understanding through international experiences.
Honors students have access to the entire spectrum of educational resources available at Texas A&M and may pursue any of the over 150 degree plans available to undergraduates. In fulfilling their individual degree requirements, Honors students select a combination of Honors and non-Honors courses that best meet their needs and interests.
The Honors curriculum may also be customized with independent study, graduate-level course work, or by contracting regular, upper-division courses for Honors credit.
