Honors Housing Community

Lechner Hall

The Honors Housing Community provides a living-learning community for students who are honors eligible and/or have an academic scholarship.  Students, whether living in the McFadden|Lechner Freshman Honors Halls or Clements Honors Hall, will benefit from the attention to academic excellence, a vibrant social life, and the fun traditions that have been inherent in the Honors Housing Community for twenty years.

Peer Leaders in each hall design programs to enhance each student’s Honors experience and to encourage specific learning outcomes.  Whether eating together at dorm dinner, planning a Pizza and Profs, attending a football game together as a hall, raising funds for a non-profit, decorating for a themed hall dance, gathering in the hallway for discussion, or studying for tests, students are sure to have the support they need for a successful year.

All Honors Halls are modular-style coed housing, and each have meeting spaces for studying, hosting guest speakers, playing games, and gathering for social events.
