Scholarships for Transfer Students |

Hazelwood Scholarship |
| |
| The Hazelwood Scholarship provides a $1,000 scholarship for honors-caliber students who are transferring to Texas A&M University from other four-year colleges or universities. |
| |
|
| Eligibility: |
- Applicants must be transferring from an accredited four-year US college or university
- Applicants must have completed at least 24 but no more than 70 hours of undergraduate credit hours
- A minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA in all college coursework is required of applicants
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Students must be entering Texas A&M University for the FALL
semester; students transferring in the summer or spring semesters are ineligible

| Terms: |
- Provides a $1,000 scholarship tenable for one academic year (i.e. fall and spring semester)
- Out-of-state
students who receive the Hazelwood Scholarship are eligible for
a non-resident tution waiver

| Deadline: |
The next application cycle begins on April 1, 2008,
with a deadline of August 1, 2008. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis.

Collegiate Excellence Scholarship |

| The Collegiate Excellence Scholarship provides a $2,000 scholarship for honors-caliber students who are transferring to Texas A&M University from Texas community and junior colleges. |
| |
|
| Eligibility: |
- Applicants must be graduates of a Texas two-year community or junior
college and its honors program (NB: membership in an honors society does not qualify)
- A minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA in all college coursework is required of applicants
- Students must be entering Texas A&M University for the FALL semester; students transferring in the summer or spring semesters are ineligible
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
