Announcing CB Plus Scholarship Award




Eligibility:
  • Designated a National Hispanic Scholar in the 2009 National Merit Scholarship Competition.
  • Enrollment in the Fall 2009 freshman class at Texas A&M University as a full-time student.
  • Graduation from high school in Spring 2009.
Terms: A $2000 academic scholarship payable during the freshman year of study at Texas A&M.
Additional Incentive:

Applicants may also compete for prestigious four-year Texas A&M University Academic Scholarships: President's Endowed, Lechner, and McFadden awards. An application must be completed for these $10,000-$12,000 four-year awards. These awards may be in addition to the CB Plus Scholarship and the CB Recognition Award.

Applications for the 2009 scholarship competition must be received by December 1, 2008. Applications are available online at http://scholarships.tamu.edu beginning August 1, 2008.

CB Recogntition Award

National Hispanic Scholars who are admitted to and enroll in Texas A&M University-College Station in Fall 2009 can earn a CB Recognition Award worth $12,000 (over four years) in addition to other prestigious scholarships.

Applicants may compete for prestigious four-year Texas A&M University Academic Scholarships. An application must be completed for these $10,000-$12,000 four-year awards. Being named a National Hispanic Scholar through the College Board competition is considered strongly in the scholarship application review.

Applications for the 2009 scholarship competition must be received by December 1, 2008. Online applications will be available August 1, 2008.
