1. The Mays Business School Honors Program
The Mays Business Honors Program offers special opportunities for successful and motivated students to pursue academic course work in business that challenges their interests and abilities. The program brings together outstanding students and faculty in an environment which encourages initiative, creativity and independent thinking.

The Mays Business Honors curriculum provides core and advanced course work in the disciplines of accounting, finance, marketing, management and information systems and operations management taught by experienced faculty with superior teaching and scholarly credentials.
Mays Business Honors classes are limited in size, and students work closely with leading professors and receive individual attention typically available only on smaller campuses. The subject matter in these Honors classes is challenging, and students explore material in greater depth than in possible in non-honors courses.

Incoming Freshmen
Students may apply for the Business Honors Program during their Senior year of high school. To be eligible for application, incoming freshmen must score at least 1250 on the SAT or 28 on the ACT or be a National Merit Finalist, a National Achievement Finalist or a National Hispanic Scholar. You must also indicate BUAD (Business Administration) or BUAG (Agribusiness) as your first choice on the Texas A&M University application for admission.

Current and Transfer Students
Business freshmen may apply for the Business Honors Program during their second semester and must have a minimum GPR of 3.6 to be considered. The number of current students admitted depends upon available space. Applications are available at the beginning of the spring semester. Students transferring into Mays will be considered for participation in the program on a case-by-case basis.

The application review process uses academic measures only as a threshold. No combination of test scores, grades and class rank will guarantee acceptance into the program. We seek students whose academic excellence is matched by strong character, leadership skills and teamwork.

Business Honors Curriculum
Business honors classes are offered at all levels, starting your freshman year. Classes are available in all five disciplines.

2. Mays Business School Fellows Program
Fellows is a premier undergraduate professional program of the Mays Business School with excellence as its cornerstone. We seek excellence and fulfillment through lasting relationships and effective teamwork. We accomplish this by committing out time and talents to each other and by living with integrity. Students apply in the Fall of their Junior year by completing an extensive application and interview process. This process culminates in the selection of approximately 50 upper-level business students. These students represent the top 1% within the Mays Business School.

In the Spring of their Junior year, Fellows participate in a team development retreat. They also attend seminars on Master Career Building topics. In the fall of their Senior year, Fellows complete an in-depth study. This service-learning project affords these students with an opportunity to work on a real-world problem facing a leading organization. It also provides a vehicle for applying their problem solving, communication, teamwork and leadership skills in a real situation. At the end of the semester, Fellows present their findings to the organizational senior decision-makers.

Even the most rigorous academic program is no substitute for practical business applications. Fellows members receive invaluable professional development using cutting-edge leadership assessment tools, multi-disciplinary interaction, problem-solving training and networking with former Fellows and corporate partners.
